Support Statement

Activity Description
Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, remains a complex and evolving condition that requires personalized, evidence-based care. In this educational program, faculty examine the current treatment landscape, with a focus on applying evidence-based strategies to select and sequence advanced therapies. In the Rapid-Fire Review: Hot Topics in IBD session, expert faculty spotlight emerging treatment options and how they may help to optimize patient outcomes. The program also features the IBD Situation Room, a discussion-based forum where faculty analyze real-world clinical cases and debate best practices. Through these dynamic sessions, participants will strengthen their ability to provide individualized, goal-directed care in clinical practice.
Target Audience
The intended audience for this activity is US-based gastroenterologists, internists, and advanced practice providers involved in the management of patients with IBD.
Learning Objectives
Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Apply the latest clinical evidence to position advanced therapies for the management of patients with moderate-to-severe IBD.
- Individualize clinical decision-making based on patient-centered goals and treatment targets.
- Review the evidence for emerging treatment options for IBD.
